CTE Programs

College & Career ReadyCareer and Technical Education (CTE) courses prepare students to be both College and Career Ready, and are offered at all district middle and high schools.  All CTE courses are organized into the career program areas listed in the left column on this page.  These broad career program areas serve as helpful guides for students to explore their interests and passions, discover career opportunities related to their skills and interests, and develop meaningful and relevant programs of study that lead to success in high school and beyond. 


Program Area Information and Pathway Planning Guides

Each of the program area links in the left column provides an overview of related courses for each high school as well as short informational videos, college credit opportunities, and option for using particular CTE courses as equivalencies to meet other academic credit requirements.  In addition, each program area provides sample Pathway Planning Guides for students interested in studying a program area indepth while preparing for entry-level employment as well as post-high school certificate, apprenticeship, and 2-year and 4-year college degree programs.

Intra-District CTE Programs
Finally, the district also offers speciality Intra-District CTE Programs which are located at on high school but available to all high school students in the district.  Students access these programs by splitting their day between their home high school and the high school hosting the Intra-District program.  Transportation is provided to and from each program and the student's home high school.
